NOTES

The word "yn" when it is used as part of a verbal construction causes a soft mutation when it is followed by anything except a verb. This "yn" is changed to "'n" after a vowel. It is not the "yn" meaning "in".However, there is an important exception for words begining with Ll or Rh.

You will also notice that when the word "llaw" is put together with "meddyg", there is a mutation to Llawfeddyg this happens with nearly all compound words.
