The Yes and No answers differ with the form of the verb. There is no single yes or no word that fits every occasion. You have to learn each one. Fortunately they are usually just forms of the verb. The word for originally is gwreiddiol but here there is a soft mutation and the G disappears. For now don't worry why this happens. It is covered later.
