NOTES

For yes and no answers to this past tense there is one single word that does not change. Naddo no and do yes. Strictly speaking this only applies to this simple past tense and forms with wedi have to use the same yes and no patterns as the equivalent yes and no patterns in the present tense. However, in practice you will hear native speakers using do and naddo for that tense as well.
