NOTES

A very important point is introduced in this lesson. When ever a short form of the verb is being used the thing that has the verbs action being done to it has a soft mutation. For those who have been taught grammar formally this is the "object" of the verb. If you haven't been taught grammar like this don't panic just remember it represents the thing that has things done to it. The short form of the verb here means that there is no other verb helping it like dw i or Ro'n i. ( I am or I was )and that the verb is on its own.
Just to expand a little more with an example. Breakfast is Brecwast but "I had breakfast" is "Ces i frecwast".

How to sound more natural

The local dialect uses Gath or Gas in place of the formal written Cafodd. You should be familiar with these differences.
The word wyau (eggs) is pronounced "wee-eh"
