NOTES

Oes is usually pronounced ôs in South Wales and this is what is on the recording. The same thing happens with any single syllable words with "oe" in them. The pronunciation changes to "ô". Oes means "Yes there is." It is useful to think of these patterns in the form of "Is there something with someone?"
